Worthington's Future Is On the Line. Here's How You Can Help.

A small group of opponents is making noise. It's time for the majority who support smart, responsible growth to make their voice heard too.

Worthington has always grown because people had the courage to invest in it. The Boundless development project on the historic Harding site is the next chapter in that story, and right now, it needs your voice.

A small group of residents has formally submitted a letter opposing the project and is actively mobilizing public comment against it. We respect their right to be heard. But opposition letters shouldn't be the only thing decision-makers read. Supporters of this project need to show up, in person and in writing.

A developer who did things the right way

Elford, Inc. and Boundless have not parachuted into this community with a take-it-or-leave-it proposal. They have spent years meeting with nearby residents, listening to concerns, and refining their plans. That kind of sustained engagement is not common it reflects genuine respect for Worthington and the people who live here.

The result is a plan that includes emergency access from Colonial Hills and appropriate buffering to adjacent neighborhoods. These are not afterthoughts. They are direct responses to what the community asked for.

New housing. New jobs. New investment.

Worthington needs housing. Our region is growing, our workforce is growing, and the demand for quality places to live continues to outpace supply. The Boundless development adds 246 new apartment homes and brings with it the jobs and economic activity that come from a major construction and development project of this scale.

This is not development for its own sake. This is Worthington building the infrastructure of a community that will thrive for the next generation.

A landmark moment for our CRA

This project also represents Worthington's first opportunity to showcase the expansion of our Community Reinvestment Area. That is a significant milestone for economic development in our city — one that signals to future investors that Worthington is open, strategic, and serious about growth.

What the data actually shows

The opposition has raised concerns about traffic. The independent traffic study tells a different story: the impact is negligible. The concerns being amplified in public comment are not supported by the evidence on the table.

Decision-makers are watching. They will weigh what they hear from the community. A vocal minority opposing this project should not be the loudest voice in the room.

Your voice matters. Here's what to do.

The ARB-MPC and City Council need to hear from supporters of this project, not just its opponents. There are two ways to make your voice count:

  • Draft a letter of support and send it to

  • Attend the regular meeting of the Worthington Architectural Review Board and Municipal Planning Commission will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Louis J.R. Goorey Worthington Municipal Building, 6550 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 to hear the following requests:
